Z15~Z20 High Efficiency H Beam Assembly Machine with Tack Welding

The Z15~Z20 series automatic H Beam Assemble machine is kind of highly efficient equipment, in terms of both assembly process and CO2 welding, which produces  assembled and tack welded H Beam with easy operation and consistent good quality.

 

In the previous section we introduced the three working modes of these automatic I Beam Assembly and Tack Weld machine. In this section we will continue to discuss operating process of the machine, from the aspect of operating pendant.

 

   1.  Operation in Single mode

       - Single mode is basis of normal work of H Beam Assemble and Tack Welding machine;

       - After confirming there is no issues with this H Beam Assemble equipment in Manual mode, first have trial run

        in Single mode. Do not jump to AUTO mode;

      - Steps:

      1) Under the condition the machine is powered on and oil pump is started, no matter the machine is in Manual

          mode or Auto mode, just press the Single Cycle button on operating pendant, the machine will be switched

          to Single Cycle;

      2) Press the Single Cycle again, CO2 tack welding begins;

      3) At completion of Single Cycle, if it is still necessary to still work in Single Cycle, press the Single Cycle button

          again;

      4) If it is necessary to leave Single mode, press the Manual button;

      5) At the time this I Beam Assemble machine finishes assembling a whole piece of H-beam in Single mode,

         press Manual button, and press Output Conveyor Forward, the assembled H-beam will be sent to designated

         position;

   2. Pushbutton/ Switch/ Lamp on Operating Pendant

       To have these Z15~Z20 H Beam Assemble and Tack Welding equipment delivering satisfactory products, 

       being familiar with its operating pendant is a crucial step.

 Z15 Pendant

    Here we can find the pendant can be divided into 3 sections of top, middle and bottom.

      -  The middle section is for general control of machine. We will start from here;

      -  The bottom section is for managing machine conveyor. We will come to here next;

      - The top section is for precise manipulation on working of this I Beam Assemble and Tack Welding machine. 

         We will have a brief on it finally.

     [1] Middle Section of Operating Pendant --- For machine general control

        1) Green button POWER: Start on the machine of this I Beam Assemble equipment;

        2) Green button PUMP ON: Start on hydraulic system of the machine;

        3) Green button MANUAL: As introduced in previous product, this is default working mode of the machine. 

            And any time we can switch to MANUAL with this button pressed;

        4) Green button SINGLE CYCLE: Have the machine switched to Single mode; Before switched to AUTO model,

            have machine working in Single first;

        5) Green button AUTO CYCLE: Have the machine switched to AUTO mode;

        6) Green button WELDING ON: Start on the 2 sets of gas shielded CO2 welding power source;

        7) Red button PUMP OFF: Shut off hydraulic system;

        8) Red button WELDING OFF: Shut off the 2 sets of gas shielded CO2 welding power source;

        9) There is no POWER OFF button on this pendant.It is at lateral side of control board, adjacent to this 

           operating pendant, for shutting off electricity of this Z15~Z20 automatic I Beam Assemble and Tack 

           Welding equipment;

      [2] Bottom Section of Operating Pendant --- For controlling machine conveyor

         1) Yellow button ALARM RESET: After solving the issue which triggers alarm, clear off the alarm signal with 

             this button;

         2) White button ADVANCE: Have machine conveyor revolving in FOR direction, sending the workpiece in the

             direction toward machine outlet side;

        3) Black button BACK: Have conveyor revolving in reverse direction;

        4) Dip switch SPEED SELECT: As introduced in previous product of H Beam assembly machine,there are 8 

            segments of welding speed available to be chosen from. This dip switch is to have selection among the 8 

            welding velocities;

        5) Digital display SPEED (m/min.): Real time shows conveyor speed either in idle or welding;

       [3] Top Section of Operating Pendant --- For controlling machine work

        1) ASSISTANT section of 2 Toggle switches EDGE CLAMP/EDGE RELEASE & MIDDLE CLAMP/MIDDLE RELEASE:

            This is for starting on and off the pulling rod system. As introduced before, there are 2 pulling rod systems

            with one set of H Beam Assemble machine, located at the start and end point of workpiece, and 2 cylinders

            for driving the positioning of web and flange respectively. EDGE is for flange, and MIDDLE is for web;

        2) LOCALIZER section of Toggle switch EXTEND/RETRACT: This is for alignment on terminals of web and 

            flange during assembly;

        3) WELDING TORCH section of Toggle switch UP/DOWN: This is for controlling vertical movement of the 2

            sets of welding torch;

        4) MAINFRAME section of the 4 Toggle switches EDGE CLAMP/EDGE RELEASE & MIDDLE CLAMP/MIDDLE

            RELEASE & ROLLER CLAMP/ROLLER RELEASE & ALL RELEASE: This is for manipulating the web and flange

            positioning& clamping units of web and flange. The Self-Alignment function of the H Beam Assemble and

            Tack Welding machine is realized here.

 

With this we have introduced detailed operation of Z15~Z20 automatic I Beam Assemble and Tack Welding machine by means of pendant. It is just a living example. For design of machine operating pendant, we can make it on the basis of customer demand.
