Section 2 Structure of Wuxi JACK H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine

1. Main Units of T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine:

This machine is mainly composed of:
1) Mechanical main body, including U frame and base bed, together with central operating units of assembly and CO2 welding unit on its base bed;
2) Infeed and outfeed conveyor roller tables;
3) Welding torches and its positioning mechanisms, 2 sets in symmetry;
4) Hydraulic manipulators (Pulling rod box), 2- 3 pairs;
5) Outsourced CO2 welding power supply, 2 sets;
6) Hydraulic system: independent pump station, electromagnetic valves, hoses;
7) Electric control system, control board, operating panel and cable routing;
 

2. Mechanical Main Frame of T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine:

This general assembly has main units of top gantry, base bed, motor reducer, hydraulic system, and electric control system:

1) Top Gantry U Frame in H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine:

a) This unit includes: Top horizontal beam, vertical column, elevating beam, downward pressing roller, and downward drive oil cylinder;
b) Its main function is to hold down and press firmly H Beam web of various specifications during assembly and CO2 tack welding;

2) Base Bed in H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine:

a) Based bed is composed of: Two pieces of wall boards and one piece of bottom horizontal beam. There is welding arc guide mechanism, web and flange clamping mechanism, and main transmission unit installed on this base bed;
b) Function of the base bed in the machine is to position and grip diversified specifications of T Beam H Beam, and implementing on spot welding along with H Beam transportation forward;

3) Motor Reducer in T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine:

a) Motor reducer drives driving rollers into revolve by way of coupler;
b) The installation of the motor reducer onto machine main frame is in the way of splitting type, for the purpose of easy package and shipment;
 

3. Input and Output Conveyor of T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine:

1) Standard length of input and output conveyor roller table is 8m each;
2) Both the infeed and outfeed conveyor are in the form of 3 segments, 2.6m length each segment. Of the 3 segments, one is drive type, the other two segments are idle (follower) type roller tables;
3) Length of infeed and outfeed conveyors can be special made based on customer demand on the H Beam assembly operation;
4) With manual tack welding, conveyor moves in constant speed, which is also manual welding velocity.

Section 3 Electric Control System of Wuxi JACK T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine

1. A.C. Inverter in T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine:

1) Task: A.C. inverter works in couple with the PLC, to control the CO2 tack welding speed during H Beam assembly;
 

2) Compound Control on Work Velocity in H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine:

To acquire on extensive range of working speed manage, there are double levels of speed control:
a) Variable frequency change: Based on parameters such as H Beam thickness, there are 8 options of output frequency from the A.C. inverter, which can be set up ahead of time into PLC user program.     2. 2) Comparatively, in H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine, the assembly speed is in the range of 240- 2400mm/min., and one set of assembly machine welds on two seams at any moment;
    To align assembly speed with SAW welding speed into same level, so as to acquire ideal line balance rate (85% plus) and smooth material flow, there are 4 sets of H Beam Welding Machine in H Beam Production Line, and only one set of T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine to work with.

    1. 1) In August 2025 year, when a Cambodian customer planned to purchase 2 sets of Z15 H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine from Wuxi JACK, they requested the machines not only to be equipped with conventional CO2 tack welding function, but also with SAW continuous welding ability. For this reason, each one set of the machine is equipped with 4 sets of welding power supplies: 2 sets of 500A GMAW welding machine, and 2 sets of 1000A single arc SAW welding machine. This helps the machine with multiple choice on welding mode and applicable H Beams for production. These 2 sets of Z15 model T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine are scheduled to be shipped to Sihanouk at end of January, 2026 by sea transportation;
    2. 2) Also in early January 2026 year, when an Indian customer had technical communication with Wuxi JACK engineer on the machine, he raised the same request. The customer expectation is to have the machine not only capable of producing semi-finished welding H Beam of large size, but also be able to produce finished welding H Beam directly with 500A GMAW welding machine, in the form of continuous CO2 gas shielded welding;
    3. 3) Besides, Wuxi JACK engineers can also propose the T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine to be equipped with Twin arc/ Tandem arc SAW welding machines. In this way, in the case of continuous SAW or GMAW welding, the welding speed can be doubled compared with conventional single arc welding mode, so as to acquire on double productivity on H Beam Production Line.
