1. Function of CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine:

1) CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine is the integration of CNC Flame Cutting Machine and CNC Drilling Machine: Under the control of CNC, the machine can carry out flame shape cutting, as well as holes drilling in designated position on steel plate;
2) In CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine, the max. thickness for flame cutting is 100mm; The max. thickness for hole drilling is 80mm;
3) The drilled holes cut from the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine are unthreaded types, either in the style of single, or plural, or group. The diameter, position, quantity of drilled holes can be controlled precisely in the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine;
4) Flame cutting is performed same as ordinary CNC Flame Cutting Machine; Drilling holes is implemented by means of mechanical drilling head.

2. Configuration Arrangement of CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine:

3) The 2nd photo: There is drilling cooling system equipped in the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine: Includes coolant spraying unit, cutting fluid coolant circulating tank, hydraulic valve and pump. The cooling system works in automatic way;
4) The 3rd and 4th Photos: During working of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine, operator sits on operation station of the equipment, which consists of CNC controller, operating panel of the CNC Cutting Machine complex, flame cutting gas regulating panel, and chair. The routing of cables and cutting gas along lengthways direction is by way of overhead cable tray alongside cutting platform of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine, and go all the way along workshop wall.

3. Production of CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine:

1) In this complex of CNC Cutting Machine, cutting torch and drilling head have three degrees of freedom:
 

a) The 1st and 2nd Photos: X axis along transverse beam, driven with servo motor of the moving carriage, guided with precise linear guiderail, and transmitted with rack;
b) Y axis along lengthways direction of cutting platform, driven with servo motor of traveling gantry;
c) Z axis along vertical direction, driven with A.C. motor, and guided with precise linear guiderail;
d) During working of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine, switch between flame cutting and hole drilling is manipulated by means of switch button;
 

2) Mechanical gantry frame of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine:

a) The 3rd photo: Traveling gantry has cross section of double box structure, this gives running of the gantry more stability, durability, and strength, which can withstand impact of long term drilling in the CNC Cutting Machine;
b) The front box structure is similar to gantry beam of ordinary CNC Flame Cutting Machine, with moving carriage as well as cutting torch/ drilling head installed;
c) The rear box structure has its top surface placement of cutting fluid coolant tank;
d) The 4th photo: Operator chair and cable hanging rack of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine are assembled onto lateral side of the moving gantry.

4. Operation of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine:

1) Before official working of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine, simple shape cutting and hole drilling can be compiled on CNC directly on site. Complicated workpiece program can be made ahead of time, and copied into CNC of the CNC Cutting Machine. This can save cycle time in large degree;
2) Large size thick thickness steel plate should be secured firmly with hydraulic jacks; The drilling head should be checked on its proper status;
3) At any moment during working of the CNC Plate Cutting and Drilling Machine, only one of the function cells is effective: Either flame cutting, or drilling hole. The position of holes is taken as reference on contour of steel plate. So usually the sequence of operation on the CNC Cutting Machine is like this: First perform flame cutting, then hole drilling.

1. Layout and Arrangement of CNC Flame Cutting Machine Cutting Center:

1) The 1st and 2nd sketch: This cutting center is composed of 3 sets of CNC Cutting Machine: 1 set of CG6000 CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine with triple cutting, and 2 sets of CG6000 CNC Flame Cutting Machine;

2) The cutting rails for traveling of 3 CNC Cutting Machine have total length of 26m, applicable for cutting max. length of 18m steel plate;

3) The cutting rail span is 6000mm, applicable for cutting max. width of 5200mm steel plate;

4) The 2nd photo: Cutting torch on the CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine is triple cutting style. See below:

2. Function of the CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine Cutting Center:

1) This Cutting Center can accomplish beveling along the 4 edges of steel plate. Of which the edge beveling along lengthways direction of steel plate is performed with the middle set of CG6000 CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine. The both sides short side beveling is accomplished by means of the 2 sets of lateral side CNC Flame Cutting Machine;
2) The middle set of CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine also takes the task of shape cutting. With 1 set of POWERMAX 1650 plasma power supply equipped, it can fulfil both flame and plasma shape cutting;
3) CNC control Flame cutting torch is equipped with capacitance height controller; Triple cutting torch is equipped with mechanical principle height controller;

1. Configuration and Purpose of Common Rail CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine:

1) The 1st photo: As can be find from the photo, this common rail CNC Flame Cutting Machine is applied in steel structure workshop. There is 1 set of strip CNC Flame Cutting Machine and 1 set of CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine installed and run on the same set of cutting rails;
2) The 2nd photo: The CNC Flame Cutting Machine has typical configuration applied for steel structure use: 4m span, 9 sets of strip cutting torch, and 2 sets of CNC cutting torch;
3) The 3rd photo: The CNC Plasma Flame Cutting Machine is dedicatedly for shape cutting. It has 1 set of traveling carriage, with both flame cutting torch and plasma cutting torch installed.
