1) In the process of manufacturing assorted metal material barrel structure products, from small tube, to medium size pipe and cylinder, to large size and heavy weight tank, circumferential welding is an inevitable and core step;
2) Welding Pipe Rotator is the versatile and high efficiency equipment for fulfilling this task, with the controllable and stable performance.
Welding Rotator is the equipment for completing job of circumferential welding:
1) By loading the cylindrical workpieces onto its welding roller bed;
2) And under the drive of A.C. motor, the welding turning roll revolve in certain adjustable revolutionary linear velocity;
3) The working part will then be led into rotation in the same revolving speed as the welding turning roll. This is shown vividly in below design sketch of Bolt Adjustable Welding Roller Bed.
1) The leading force on rotation of cylindrical parts come from friction force generated between welding turning roll and the cylindrical parts, during operation of Welding Rotator and welding roller bed;
2) Proper choice on material and process technology of welding turning roll is the core step in developing Welding Pipe Rotator, especially heavy duty welding roller bed and anti drifting welding roller bed, which determines performance and service life of the Welding Rotator;
3) The revolutionary speed of welding turning roller is exactly the welding speed of working parts on welding roller bed. For this reason, this parameter in technical specifications of all the Welding Rotator is changeable within certain scope, which is usually controlled with A.C. inverter, and displayed in digital meter.
a) HGZ Self Adjusting welding roller bed is the “simplest” in terms of locating workpiece, and making the distance of its welding turning roller adaptable for different diameters of workpiece:
b) In each set of welding roller table, the welding turning roller are installed on two pieces of tilting racks, which can swing its angle based on diameter and weight of workpiece loaded on it. Check below picture;
c) In HGZ self adjustable Welding Rotator, the surrounding angle on the workpiece composed from included angle of the two racks is kept within the range of 45°~110° ;
In each set of its welding roller bed, there are 4 pieces of welding turning roll installed, instead of 2 pieces of welding turning roller in the welding roller bed of HLK and HGK series Welding Rotator.
Based on loading capacity of its welding rolling bed, the HGZ series Welding Pipe Rotator can be divided into three subgroups of light duty HGZ Self Adjustable Welding Rotator, medium duty HGZ Self Adjustable Welding Rotator, and heavy duty HGZ Self Adjustable Welding Rotator.
1) In each set of welding roller bed of HGK leadscrew adjustable Welding Rotator, the center distance between the 2 pieces of welding turning roll, which corresponds with diameter of workpiece, is adjusted by means of hand turning leadscrew, which joins the two pieces of welding turning roll. Check below photo;

1) HGK leadscrew adjustable Welding Rotator adjusts span of welding turning roller in continuous way, on its welding roller bed. So, applicable diameter of working parts can be any size within specification: Wide batch with small quantity in each batch of workpiece;
2) Because of such working principle of its welding turning roller adjustment, the HGK series leadscrew adjusting Welding Rotator is confined to light duty and medium light duty Welding Pipe Rotator.
Based on structure of its welding rolling bed and function embeded, the HGK series Welding Rotator can be divided into standard type welding roller bed, high precision welding turning roller type, traveling welding roller bed type, welding turning roller down pressure type, and tailor made Welding Rotator, etc.
1) In HLK series bolt adjustable Welding Rotator, the span between the 2 pieces of welding turning roll of its welding roller bed, which equals to diameter of cylindrical part, is changed by refitting the tightening holes of securing bolts, Check below photo;

1) The HLK series Bolt Adjusting Welding Rotator has the largest range in terms of loading capacity of its welding roller table: From the lightest 2Ton, to the heaviest 1000Ton in standard models of welding turning roller, and up to 2000 Ton in special made welding turning roller;
2) HLK bolt adjustable Welding Rotator is fitting for welding limited sizes of workpiece, while each size of workpiece has relative large volume;
3) There is a special made and very important type of HLK bolt adjustable welding roller bed in use: The anti-drifting Welding Rotator, which we will give specific discussion in the page of Special Made Welding Rotator.
1) Based on the specific design of its welding rolling bed, the HLK series Bolt Adjustable Welding Rotator can be divided into standard type welding roller bed, traveling type welding roller bed, fixed type anti drifting Welding roller bed, and traveling type anti-drifting welding roller bed;
2) Based on loading tonnage of its welding turning roller, the HLK series Bolt Adjustable Welding Pipe Rotator can be grouped into light duty HLK Bolt adjustable Welding Rotator, medium duty HLK Bolt adjustable Welding Rotator, and heavy duty HLK Bolt adjustable Welding Rotator.
1. HGZ, HGK and HLK series Welding Pipe Rotator with varied welding roller bed and welding turning roll, which are applied in all industries and facilities which produce tubes, pipes, tanks in fabrication and welding process technology: Pipeline deployment, LPG, Oil Field, Boiler, Steel Structure, Pharmaceutical…;
2. At working site, Welding Rotator often work with the other two frequently used welding equipment: Welding Manipulator, Welding Positioner, SAW Welding Center, and Gas Shielded Welding Center;
3. The often adopted equipment preceding Welding Pipe Rotator are Edge Milling Machine, and Plate Butt Joint Welding Machine, which produces large size and long length steel plate for Welding Rotator use, when customers produce large scale tanks;
4. The equipment next to Welding Rotator includes Beam End Face Milling Machine, which polishes end face of pipes welded into shape.
