B. Technical Brief on Q35Y Models Combined Punching and Shearing Machine:
1. Main Units and Structure of Combined Punching and Shearing Machine:
a) A set of Q35Y/ 25 model steel worker at customer workshop, front side: (Fig.2)
b) Rear side of the same set of machine mechanical main frame: (Fig.3)
As shown in the above photos, one set of the Q35Y series machine has main units of:
1) Integral type mechanical main frame of the machine. It is of welding structure type, boosting sufficient rigidity and strength;
2) Various operating seats, apertures, brackets, tools, for completing on corresponding functions on steel workpieces processing, which are distributed at different sections of the top half of the main machine;
3) Hydraulic system as driving force on punching and notching actions, which is put inside lower half of the machine, right hand;
4) Electric control board of this Combined Punching and Shearing Machine, being integrated into lower half of the machine, left hand;
5) Other assistant tools for operation, such as working lamp, rods, fixtures, spanner that should be replaced, depending on different batch of workpieces;
2. Operation Way on Q35Y Models Combined Punching and Shearing Machine:
1) Eye Catching Differentiation on Sections: As can be seen from photos, different zones in this steel worker machine are classified with different colors, blue and white for base and background, and orange for operating zones;
2) One Operation at a Time: Combining numerous functions into one machine, there is only one type of operation that can be implemented at any moment. In other words, parallel operation is not allowable here. Operator can focus any job without distraction;
3) Suggest on Batch Work in Combined Punching and Shearing Machine:
a) Assistant Job is a Must: The operation of this steel worker machine involves assemble on and dismounting fixtures/ tools/ seats/ brackets for different sized workpieces, under different operation modes selection;
b) Non-Value Added Cycle Time: The fit on and disassembly operation is completed with corresponding bolts and nuts. In other words, there are certain percentage of non-value added support work, during the entire operation shift of this Combined Punching and Shearing Machine;
c) Raise Efficiency: For this reason, to raise percentage of the total value added work cycle time as much as possible, operation steps on this machine should be planned carefully ahead of time, to process on workpieces with the same specifications together as a batch. In this way, corresponding assembly and dismounting jobs can be reduced the minimum level;
3. Operation Modes in Q35Y Models Combined Punching and Shearing Machine:
This machine has 3 operating modes for every type of its function:
1) Single: This mode is for testing and making sure normal condition of the corresponding function unit. So, every time for carrying out related function step at beginning of each shift, use this Single mode to validate on correct status;
2) Inching: This mode is for modulating on hold down stroke of ram/ blade in precise way, to make sure its correct process parameter with involved workpieces. So, every time when replacing batch of workpiece, using this Inching mode to adjust on the optimum control parameters of the Combined Punching and Shearing Machine;
3) Continuous: This is the official running mode for each batch of workpiece, under different operation types:
a) Shearing on metal plates/ flat bars/ Rods;
b) Cut off H Beams and Channels (At different slots);
c) Punching on round holes;
d) Notching on square holes;
The Continuous model should be selected and performed only after having Single and Inching modes as pilot.
