1) Function: As a specialized and featured product of I H Beam Straightening Machine, Wuxi JACK HJ models steel structure BOX H Beam Lengthways Straightening Machine is used for correcting on longitudinal deformation along the entire length of long workpieces, including but not limited to: H Beam/ BOX Beam/ Section Steel/ Square Pipe/ Any elongated steel structure;
2) Application Background: The longitudinal deformation of workpieces may be caused from large current SAW heat input, transportation, or storage:

3) Another Function of Machine: On the other hand, this BOX H Beam Lengthways Straightening Machine can also be used for doing reverse job: to bend a straight long workpiece into arc shape: (Fig.4)

1) The most important step for customers purchasing on BOX H Beam Longitudinal Straightening Machine, is to decide on the max. straightening force that should be acquired, and hence model of the machine can be confirmed. 1. Calculation on the Max. necessary pressing force for straightening on longitudinal deformation of workpiece: From 20 Ton (HJ20 model) to 300 Ton (HJ300 model);
2. Design on general layout and overall structure of machine, based on customer facility workshop and utility. Then make assemblies and components disassembly from general design, break down into each part of the machine;
3. Make process route on producing and validating on the entire set of machine at Wuxi JACK, from 1st operation step of steel plate cut off and components machining, to fabrication, to assembly, to performance test, to painting,. There are internal quality gates at outlet of each process technology station;
4. Plan on and purchase outsourced parts of the BOX H Beam Lengthways Straightening Machine: Hydraulic oil cylinders and pump station, electric control elements;
5. Machining on core acting elements, including pressing head/ Oil cylinder and its guiding bush/ Ejectors/ Mechanical main frame/ Pressing beam, etc.;

1. Deformation generated on workpieces: At the completion of welding BOX/ I / H Beam fabrication, there are 2 major types of deformation generated during welding, which are caused from SAW/ GMAW welding heat input:
1) H Beam Flange up bend deformation;
2) Deflection along the entire length direction of workpiece- This can also be caused from long distance transportation, or long time storage of BOX H Beams;
2. Straightening Operation: These flange and longitudinal deformations should be corrected by means of different types H Beam Straightening Machine, to make these steel structures eligible for subsequent process technology:

1) Besides H Beam and BOX Beam, this machine can also be used for straightening on other long structure workpieces. These workpieces had better with small cross section, and should with square/ rectangular shape;
2) Typical workpieces include: H Beam/ Section Steel/Channels steel/ BOX Beam/ Cross Beam / Structure member, etc.. Using special fixture, this machine can also straighten on round workpieces like long pipes;
