1) Workpiece: The model Z18 refers to the max. web height of welding H Beam output from the H Beam Assembling and Tack Welding Machine is 1,800mm:

2) Output WIP: The Z18 (And other models of Z series) H Beam Assembling Machine itself does not produce finished product for customer, but a piece of WIP assembled and tack welded H Beam instead;
3) Related Equipment: When being applied in automatic HB 1800 H Beam Production Line, this Z18 model machine needs to work together with LHC H Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine for producing welding H Beam:

4) Subsequent SAW Machine: When applied as individual equipment, this Z18 model machine needs to work with LHA5Z model or LHT model T Beam H Beam SAW Machine, for the purpose of delivering SAW welded H Beam.
1) GMAW Power Supply: With PLC controlled CO2 tack welding process, welding power source is a very important outsourced unit for Z15, Z18, and Z20 automatic machine;
For this unit we have two options for customer to choose from, for being equipped into the Z series machine:
a) Chinese HUAYUAN: Model NB-350 --- Usually Chinese customer select it:

b) Japan PANASONIC, Model KR-350 --- Usually Overseas customer select it:

3) Both types of the CO2 welding power source have superior high standard and stable performance, and deliver consistent good quality working in the Z series machine.
In this product section we will give a brief introduction on the Chinese brand HUAYUAN KR350 Inverter control Gas Shielded Arc Welding power supply first, and how it worked together with the Wuxi JACK delivered machine:
Main Feature of the HUAYUAN CO2 Welding Power Supply:
1) Characteristic of the heavy duty cycle applicable for heavy industry application, such as the Z15, Z18, and Z20 automatic machine;
2) State-of-art technique with digital control and soft function button, makes sure reliable working in the Z series I Beam Assembly Machine;
3) With the latest technique of adaptive control system, arc characteristic of the CO2 Welding matches with type and diameter of welding wire without any problem;
4) Welding parameters can be set up ahead of time (preset) in precise manner, before formal operation of the machine, and manage on welding performance accordingly;
5) Protection against exterior infiltration such as dust, humid, noise, and salt, etc. Makes the CO2 Welding power supply a rigid and durable working unit, suitable for working site of the machine with tack welding;
6) Welding supplementary units of welding wire feeding unit in the machine, of double drive with four rollers makes wire feeding process smooth and stable;
7) Operating friendly function of welding parameter (Welding current, voltage, velocity) storage in library, and available for selection. This function is very useful for operation in our Z15, Z18, and Z20 high precision H Beam Assembling Machine, because it is necessary to have eight stages of welding speed to be chosen during CO2 tack welding;
8) Terminal interface reserved for remote control access, to have communication with other equipment. By this the welding power supply can be controlled with a CNC or industrial computer at certain distance away. And for this machine, we can have the welding power source started on machine operating pendant:

9) Self started protection mechanism against problems of over voltage, lack voltage, over heat or phase failure, so that the CO2 welding power supply work reliably in the machine.
