1) Background: In the first photo, this set of Wuxi JACK Z15 model machine with manual tack welding was taken at a newly set up H Beam Production Line;
2) As you may find from the first photo, there is a set of CG4000 CNC Strip Plate Cutting Machine at the back side of this Z15 model machine raw material coming inlet, the previous station of the machine, for producing raw material of the I H Beam Assembly Machine: Strip steel plates used as flange and web of welding H Beam:

This Z15 model machine works in following steps for producing a piece of welded H Beam:
1) T Beam Assembly: Assembles flange and web one piece each into ⊥ shape beam first, with the help from automatic assembling self alignment unit of the H Beam Assembling Machine;
2) WIP T Beam Produced: Meanwhile, together with the automatic assembling process performed in the machine, carry out CO2 spot welding by operators, making the workpiece a piece of semi-finished product T Beam from the Z15 model machine:

3) Second Loading: Overturn the assembled T Beam 180° and load it into the Z15 model machine again;
4) Finished H Beam Assembly: Then assembles the second piece of flange onto the ⊥ shape beam, making it turned into 工 shape beam, or H Beam, also with the assist from the automatic assembling self alignment unit equipped in the H Beam Assembly Machine;
5) Second GMAW Welding: At same time, implements on the second time manual CO2 spot welding for the other two pieces of welding seams by operators:

Accordingly, supply range of Z15 model self alignment machine with manual tack welding does not include:
PLC (Programmable logic controller) plays key roles on controlling automatic circle of Wuxi JACK Z15/ Z18/ Z20 machine: (Fig.5)
a) In automatic CO2 spot welding, the A.C. inverter works together with PLC to manage on adjustable moving and welding speed of H Beam fabrication:
b) In the H Beam Assembly Machine with manual tack welding, the workpiece moves in constant speed, the A.C. inverter plays on the role of back up for future upgrade;
a) Different from PLC and A.C. inverter, it does not mean manual CO2 spot welding does not need the corresponding welding power supply in the machine:

b) CO2 Welding Operating Style: Instead, without considering integration of welding power supply into control system of the Z15 model automatic machine with manual tack weld, common practice is, customer prepare the CO2 welding power supplies by themselves, which can be shared from other workstations in a steel structure facility. Usually at such facilities, CO2 welding power supply is one of the frequent used and basic unit for equipment;
4) Machine Price: The above three reasons contribute to, that why a set of Self Alignment automatic H Beam Assembly Machine with manual tack welding has 10% lower price, than that of the machine with automatic CO2 spot welding version.
