In BOX Beam Production Line, Following stations of:
1) GZ12/GZ15 Internal Baffle Plate assembly;
2) UBZ12 U Beam BOX Beam assembly and tack welding;
The workpiece is assembled and welded into assembled BOX Beam. Follow that, the workpiece should be performed CO2 gas shielded welding with this XQ12 machine;
1) This XQ2 machine is for fulfilling gas shielded CO2 back welding on the assembled BOX Beam;
2) As can be seen from the attached photo and below, this machine has cantilever type mechanical structure, or column boom type, which means boom overhanging type, depending on specific nomination habit of different places:
3) Operating side of Wuxi JACK XQ12 machine, for implementing on CO2 back welding on long length assembled BOX Beam: (Fig.1)
1. BOX Beam Send In: During work, the assembled and tack welded BOX Beam is sent to this machine, by means of steel conveyor:
The steel conveyor for lifting and sending BOX Beam to CO2 back welding station: (Fig.2)
To adjust welding point precisely, the welding arm fit with welding torch mechanism can move two directions:
1) Horizontally along length direction of BOX Beam with moving trolley;
2) Vertically by way of its motor drive carriage, which is on overhanging boom;
Making sure the CO2 welding head accurately aiming at welding seam all the while;
During work, operator stands on moving trolley of the Back Welding Machine, monitoring and manipulating on the CO2 gas shielded back welding operation;
3. Welding Torch Tracker Unit: There is pneumatic drive elastic mechanical welding torch tracing unit, which is equipped on the welding arm, making its automatic arc tracing during operation:

4. CO2 Back Welding Speed: With the movement of trolley along its rail, automatic back welding is performed in the style of flat welding on BOX Beam, in this CO2 BOX Beam Back Welder Machine. So, the moving speed of trolley is also working velocity of back welding. It is adjustable and controlled with A.C. inverter.
Is mainly composed of:
1) Motor drive moving trolley along rail;
2) The upright column on moving trolley;
3) The horizontal overhanging short beam, which is assembled onto the upright column;
4) The welding arm mechanism, which is installed the boom;
5) The mechanical tracing unit, which is installed onto welding arm unit;
6) The CO2 back welding power supply, which is put onto moving trolley;
7) Electric control and operation system;
Among the above listed working elements, the:
1) Upright column;
2) Overhanging beam;
3) Welding arm and its mechanical tracing unit;
4) Welding wire barrel;
5) Cooling water tank,
Are all deployed onto the motorized moving trolley. The trolley is driven with motor reducer and controlled with A.C. inverter, meeting the demand on the expected adjustable CO2 back welding speed;
This is the core function unit in the machine. For one set of the XQ12,
1) There are 2 sets of welding arm and its motor drive moving carriage, which are installed on the overhanging horizontal short beam;
2) Welding wire feeders are installed at the upper section of welding arms;
3) Mechanical tracing units are fit at the lower section of welding arms;
4) By means of elastic carriage and guiding wheels, these tracing units make welding tips directed at welding seam all the times, and kept at certain distance away from welding seam at the same time, guaranteeing welding quality on gas shielded CO2 backing welding;
1) This includes electric control board and its operating panel;
2) The control board is installed on the upright column;
3) The A.C. inverter is fit inside the control board;
4) Operating Station: Please check attached picture. Operating panel and console of CO2 Back Welding power supply are put together and installed on the upright column, which is close at hand with operator, for the purpose of acquiring convenient operation;
This is the main and central outsourced unit of machine. It usually supplied in the form of integral kit, and consisted of:
1) The CO2 gas shielded welding power supply itself;
2) Welding wire feeder;
3) Cooling water tank;
4) Welding torch mechanism;
5) Control console;
Control of the welding power supply and trolley movement is integrated by means of control system and its operating panel.
