1. Internal baffle, or baffle plate, is the sub-assembly or interim products in the process technology of BOX Beam Production Line. The GZ12/ GZ15 models machines are for assembling and tack welding this half finished workpiece, from raw materials of cut plate. It is the first critical step in BOX Beam production;

1. Equipment Nature: As first stage BOX Beam Assembly Machine, this rough assembly machine is specifically designed for assembly and welding of internal baffles, the WIP (Work in process) of BOX Beam. In other words, it is a dedicated equipment for BOX Beam production, not universal machine;
1) What Like: Judging from its appearance in attached and below photo, this machine is a motor drive automatic operating Welding Fixture:

3) Shown in the above photo, there is positioning unit on its work table, which performs assembly operation on internal baffle plate. This unit can be moved and adjusted along work table based on different sizes of baffle plate, making sure precise positioning and assembly, avoiding welding deformation happen;
1) To start the assembly and tack welding work, first place the raw material of cut plates onto work table of machine;
2) After positioning of the cut plates, manually press and secure it tightly. In this equipment, the press and hold on of workpiece is by means of air cylinder. This is the first step of assembling;
3) The second step of welding on the positioned cut plates into internal baffle is performed following that, in the manner of manual welding;
4) To adjust angular position of workpiece cut plate, the machine work table can be rotated within the range of ±180° in constant speed, which is driven with motor reducer. This leads workpiece into continuous revolve correspondingly, making sure it to be positioned at the best angular position, for carrying out assembly and welding operation.
1. In essence, this machine is a simplified fixture type Welding Positioner, for fulfilling internal baffle assembly and welding to some extent. This can also be observed from its appearance;
2. Operating Way: In this respect, the working principle of this machine is to locate and clamp workpiece first, then put it into the optimum position for operation (welding) by way of work table turning;
1) Angular Position Control: For this reason, turning (tilting, or revolving) of the machine work table and hence cut plate is of vital importance for normal work;
2) Drive and Transmission: The infinite turning of work table is driven with electromagnetic braking motor, and transmitted with worm gear reducer, which guarantees on precise location of work table and cut plate at any desired target position, together with self-lock function;
3) Revolve Operation: The work table turning operation is manipulated with foot pedal switch, releasing hands of operator for alternative jobs at the same time when working with this GZ series machine;
4. Double Sides Welding: The work table revolves within the scope of ±180°. This is for the ease of both sides welding on workpiece cut plate: Upon completion of one side welding, just rotate the work table to the opposing side, and carry out welding on the opposing side of the workpiece. Here the welding operation on internal baffle plate is accomplished with manual job;
5. Cut Plate Fixture: Pressing of the workpiece is adopted with pneumatic drive. During work, the piston rod of the air cylinder props up, pushing the hold down rod pressing against workpiece tightly, for the next step of welding step.
1. What Look Like: As can be checked from attached photos of the machine, this equipment has the structure of stationary welding fixture type. It is secured into workshop floor with anchor bolts:

2. The fundamental unit of this machine is its revolving work table. Its frame structure gives the machine the highest degree of stability, making it put on the ground and work stably;
1) Work table revolving driving motor (braking type) and its worm gear motor reducer;
2) Pneumatic system for holding workpiece;
3) Positioning unit on the work table;
4) Electric control board and foot pedal switch.
