In this section of RH3000 Plate Edge Rounding machine for port machinery, we will go on to have explanation on Material &Machining of main units of the machine.

 

    1. Material and Machining process of Main Acting units in RH-series High Precision Strip Plate Edge 

       Trimming machine for port machinery:

    For rounding& deburring operation which involve heavy working force and high precision, it should be 

     integration of strength and accuracy.

    1.1  Round Rollers

     1) As introduced, there are left and right, 2 pairs of rounding rollers (Top and bottom rollers in each pair, totally

       4 rounding rollers in one set of Plate Edge Rounding equipment);

     2) This is the core unit of the machine for performing rounding process;

     3) These rounding rollers are solid, made of 35CrMo tool steel, finely machined with machining center, 

        tempered integrally, and have its surface quenched;

     4) As mentioned in the previous product section of “RH2000 Plate Edge Rounding machine for ship building”,

        this unit is consumables of the machine, and has suggested working life in terms of accumulated rounding 

        length;

    1.2  Bed of Rounding Rollers& Positioning Oil Cylinders

     1) This unit determines stability and smoothness of rounding process the Edge Rounding machine;

     2) It is solid casting steels, of ZG250-550;

     1.3  Guiding Rod for Transverse Movement of Rounding Rollers

      1) This unit determines positioning accuracy of workpiece in RH-series End Plate Trimming machine;

      2) These guiding rods (2 pieces total in one set of machine) are made and machined from 45# steel, and 

         have Chromium plated;

     1.4  Slide Bearing (Bush) of the above-mentioned Guiding Rod

       1) Together with the guiding rod, this unit affects positioning accuracy of workpiece of the Edge Deburring

        and Rounding machine;

       2) This unit is assembled onto the guiding rod and have direct contact with internal surface of the 

         transverse positioning oil cylinder;

       3) Or, in other words, it sits in between the guiding rod and the positioning cylinder, and serves as 

         sliding guide;

       4) It is made and finely-machined from Copper-base alloy intermingled with graphite;

     1.5 Downward Stroke Pressing Rollers

       1) As introduced in several of former product sections of Edge Rounding equipment, there are three rollers in

         this unit. And based on specific width of workpiece, one ~ three rollers are to be used for keeping flatness of

        workpiece surface in the process of rounding;

       2) Judging from its function, the demand of rigidity and precision on it is at lower level than that of 

         rounding rollers;

      3) This the reason these rollers are made and machined from 45# steel and have its surface Chromium-plated.
