RH-1000 Strip Edge Rounding Machine for Shipbuilding Industry

A. Application of RH800 to RH1000 Strip Edge Rounding Machine:

1. Models: The attached pictures show main frame of Wuxi JACK standard RH1000 model Strip Edge Rounding and Deburring Machine. It is the largest selling volume of conventional of RH series machine on small plate. In practical application, Wuxi JACK have another very popular smaller model of RH800 for customer, which process on plate of Max. 800mm width;

2. Structure: Compared with RH1500 to RH3000 larger models of machine on edge rounding, RH1000 and smaller RH800 small models have open structure, instead of enclosed frame mechanical body. The reason behind that is explained below. Such structure is compact and more convenient for transportation/ installation and relocation:

3. Two Typical Applications of RH800 to RH1000 Strip End Plate Trimming Machine:

1) T Beam Production: After plate cutting, edge rounding is the basic and necessary step, in the process technology of T Beam Production Line. The typical model here is RH1000:

2) Stiffener Plate Assembly: Also called Ribbed Plate unit, these plates units are indispensable workpieces for building mechanical frame of large machinery: Hoist Crane/ Bridge/ Port Machinery/ Ship, which need to be edge rounded before assembly:

B. General Structure of RH800 to RH1000 Strip End Plate Trimming Machine:

1. Workpiece Feature: These models of machines are for fulfilling edge rounding and deburring effect, on narrow plate of up to 1000mm width. Due to its relative narrow width, there is no hidden risk of center drum up, or called middle protrusion, on the narrow plate in the process of edge rounding operation;

2. Consequently, it is not necessary to have the downward stroke pressing rollers to be equipped into RH800 to RH1000 models, which are equipped in the larger models of RH1500/ RH2000, and RH3000 larger models:

3. Structure of RH800 to RH1000 Strip Edge Deburring and Rounding Machine:

This explains that, RH800 to RH1000 models machines have the structure completely different from that of RH1500/ RH2000, and RH3000:

1) RH800 to RH1000 models have compact frame with top open structure, that a set of base bed is installed with edge rounding unit on it:

2) Complete Machine: Together with input and output conveyors deployed at front and rear side of main machine, thus forms up complete set of this RH1000 model machine.

C. Edge Rounding Roller Cell of RH800 to RH1000 Strip Edge Rounding and Deburring Machine:

Another discrepancy, or uniqueness of small models machine, from the larger ones of RH1500/ RH2000, and RH3000, lies at its moving way, or alignment of edge rounding units at both sides:

1. Fixed Side: As shown in attached photo and below, one side of the up and down edge rounding rollers are fixed along horizontal direction:

2. Movable Side: While the opposing side of edge rounding rollers are transverse movable, guided with the guiding rod and bush. For Wuxi JACK RH series Strip Edge Trimming Machine, these guiding rod and bush are made of finely Machined 45# steel with chrome plating:

3. Width Adjustment: The distance between the two pairs of edge rounding rollers is adjusted, with the moving side of the edge rounding rollers, accommodating on steel plate of various width, within the range of 150mm to 1000 mm;

4. Comparatively, in the case of larger models of RH1500/ RH2000, and RH3000 Plate Edge Rounding and Deburring Machine, both sides of the edge rounding rollers can be moved along transverse direction;

5. Machine Foundation: The 3^rd disparity of RH800 and RH1000 smaller models of machine is its foundation: No need to prepare foundation ahead of time before installation. Just secure its machine main body and conveyors into workshop ground, by means of anchor bolts.

D. Edge Rounding Scrap Cleaning Unit in RH Series Strip Edge Trimming Machine:

1. Function: This unit is for blowing off the scraps generated in the process of edge rounding, which is installed at the outlet side of machine main frame:

2. Main Units: In RH models machine, this scrap clearing unit is pneumatic drive: As can be seen from the above photo, it is composed of air compressor/ control valve/ air tube, and blowing tip;

3. Work Principle: The two pieces of blue color thin tube at the outlet side of machine body sends air to the 2 pieces of blowing tip, above the central edge rounding area of this automatic Strip Edge Rounding Machine, maintaining on cleanness condition of the working area all the time;

4. Operation Duration: So long as input and output conveyors are in the state of running, this gas drive scrap cleaning unit will be in work status.
