A. Structure and Appearance of RH1500 Automatic Plate Edge Rounding Machine:

1. Main Frame: As you can check from attached photos, the RH1500 model Automatic Edge Rounding Equipment, although with only 500mm of the widest sheet metal width wider than that of RH1000, has completely different mechanical structure with RH1000:

2. In other words, RH1500/ RH2000, and RH3000 larger models share the same structure of mechanical main body construction;

3. Downward Pressing Rollers of RH1500 Automatic Edge Rounding Deburring Machine:

1) Separation Level: In edge rounding operation, 1000mm width of sheet metal is the threshold for distinguishing the issue of center drum up, or middle protrusion, happened on sheet metal during edge rounding process;

2) The definition on “Center drum up” is: During edge deburring and rounding on sheet metal, by means of both sides edge rounding rollers, the middle of sheet metal, (Especially plate, compared with T Beam or H Beam) is prone to be drummed up, or protruded, under the action effect of both sides edge rounding force. This not only deteriorates on edge rounding effect, but also do harm on sheet metal itself;

3) This is the reason for RH1500 and larger models of (RH2000, and RH3000) End Plate Trimming Machine, there is a set of downward pressing rollers, which is composed of one to three pieces of downstroke pressing rollers, to be pressed against top surface of sheet metal tightly during edge rounding operation, preventing middle of sheet metal from being drummed up:

4) Drive: Same as other working actions, the downstroke pressing rollers are also driven with hydraulic cylinders.


B. Sideward Edge Rounding Rollers of RH1500 Automatic End Plate Trimming Machine:

1. Way of Alignment: Different from RH1000 model, in RH1500 and larger models large plate Edge Rounding Machine, the transverse movement of edge rounding rollers at both sides, is in the form of automatic center alignment;

2. Alignment Form: Which means, under the effect of its driving oil cylinders, both sides of edge rounding rollers can be moved toward sheet metal at the same time, or moving away from sheet metal simultaneously. This is to be suitable catering for varying width of sheet metal in the RH models machine;

3. Same as RH1000 Automatic Edge Rounding Machine, leftward and rightward movement of edge rounding rollers are guided with guiding rod and bush, which is made of precision processed 45# steel and plated with chromium. This fully guarantees on positioning accuracy of edge rounding and deburring operation:

C. The Integral Main Frame of RH1500 Automatic Edge Rounding Deburring Machine:

1. The entire set of RH1500 model machine has construction of integral frame structure. Please check attached photo and below:

2. Shown in the above photo, there are four pieces of upright solid columns, which are fit at the four corners of machine main frame, and assembled into an integral frame body, together with the two pieces of long columns “lying” down overhead, and two pieces of short cross beam overhead;

3. This gives a very firm and sturdy constructure of machine main frame, which fully guarantee on reliable and consistent high speed edge rounding operation in the machine;

4. Function Units of RH1500 and above Automatic Edge Rounding Machine:

1) Solid base bed supports on the above introduced machine BOX frame, and all the function units. It should be sturdy and durable, withstanding all the high power edge rounding operation in the machine:

2) The left and right two pairs of edge rounding rollers, shown in the above photo, as well as its driving hydraulic oil cylinders, are assembled as an integral assembly, being installed onto the base bed, forming working area of Automatic End Plate Trimming Machine;

3) The high power A.C. motor reducer, for driving on sending forward of sheet metal though the machine, are positioned at left side of machine main frame, alongside edge rounding units;

4) The 3 pieces of downward pressing rollers, are installed on the overhead horizontal column, situated between left and right two pairs of edge rounding rollers.


D. Adjustment of Edge Rounding Rollers in RH1500 and above Automatic Edge Rounding Equipment:

1. Precondition: Based on edge rounding principle in the machine, the prerequisite for its proper operation is to have proper adjustment on the four pieces of edge rounding rollers, making it leaning against the top/ bottom and lateral 4 corners of sheet metal firmly:

2. Importance of Position Adjustment: For this purpose, before carrying out edge rounding operation in the machine, be sure to manage on position of the four pieces of edge rounding rollers correctly, by means of the corresponding buttons on operating pendant. Please check the attached and below photo:

3. Adjustment Based on Plate Width and Thickness in Edge Rounding Machine:

1) Drive Mode: During work, movement action of the four pieces of edge rounding rollers is driven with hydraulic oil cylinders:

Groups of oil cylinders, for precisely and reliably adjusting position of edge rounding rollers, along horizontal and vertical direction: (Fig.8)

2) Adjustment on Plate Thickness: There are two sets of vertical acting oil cylinder respectively at each side of the edge rounding rollers, driving the top position edge rounding rollers moving up and down, catering on various thickness of sheet metal;

3) Adjustment on Plate Width: Horizontal movement of edge rounding rollers is also driven with oil cylinder. There are left and right/ front and rear, totally four sets of oil cylinders, for driving edge rounding rollers moving toward or away from workpiece sheet metal, for adjusting on span of left and right 2 pairs of edge rounding rollers, based on width of workpiece sheet metal:
