RH-1500 Plate Edge Rounding Machine for Shipyard Industry

1. Structure and Appearance of RH1500 Automatic Plate Edge Rounding Machine:

1) Difference with RH1000: As you can check from attached photos, the RH1500 Automatic Edge Rounding Equipment, although with only 500mm of the widest workpiece width wider than that of the RH1000 model, has completely different overall mechanical structure with RH1000;

2) Or, as we mentioned before, RH1500, RH2000, and RH3000 share the same structure of mechanical main body construction, in the product group of RH series machine.

2. Downward Pressing Roller of RH1500 Automatic Edge Rounding Deburring Machine:

1) Critical Parameter on Determining Machine Structure:  For selecting proper design and hence model of machine, 1500mm width of workpiece plate is the threshold for distinguishing the issue of center drum up, happened on workpiece during edge rounding process;

2) The definition on “Center drum up” is: During edge deburring and rounding on workpiece in Automatic Edge Rounding Machine, by means of both sides of edge rounding rollers, the middle of workpiece (Especially wide plate, compared with T Beam or H Beam) is prone to be drummed up, under the acting effect of both sides rounding force;

3) This is the reason for RH1500 and larger models of (RH2000, and RH3000) machine, there is a group of downward pressing rollers, which is composed of one to three pieces of downstroke rollers, to be pressed against top surface of wide plate tightly during edge rounding process, preventing the middle of workpiece from being drummed up. 4)  Drive Mode: Same as other working actions in RH series Automatic End Plate Trimming Machine, the above mentioned downstroke pressing rollers are also driven with hydraulic cylinders.

3. Sideward Rounding Rollers of RH1500 Automatic Edge Rounding Machine:

1) Different from RH800 and RH1000 models Strip Edge Rounding Machine, in RH1500 and larger models, the transverse movement of edge rounding rollers at both sides, is in the form of automatic center alignment;

2) Which means, under the effect of its driving oil cylinders, both sides of edge rounding rollers can be moved toward workpiece plate at the same time, or moving away from workpiece. This is to be suitable catering on varying width of steel plates in the RH models Automatic Edge Rounding Deburring Machine;

3) Guiding Unit: Same as RH1000 model machine, the leftward and rightward movement of edge rounding rollers of RH1500 model are guided with guiding rod and bush, which is made of precision processed 45#steel and plated with Chromium. This fully guarantees on positioning accuracy of edge rounding and deburring operation:

4. The Integral Structure of RH1500 Automatic Edge Rounding Machine:

1)  The entire set of RH1500 automatic machine has construction of integral frame structure. Please check attached picture and below photo:

2) Structure Description: As shown in the above photo, in this RH3000 model machine, there are four pieces of upright solid columns fit at the four corners of machine mechanical main frame, which are assembled into an integral frame body, with the two pieces of long columns “lying” down, and two pieces of short cross beam overhead;

3) This gives a very firm and sturdy constructure of main frame of the RH1500 Edge Rounding Deburring Machine, which fully guarantee on reliable and consistent working process.
