    1. Product brief:

    1.1  As introduced in product section of T Beam production, this Edge Deburring and Rounding machine 

       performs the 2nd step job following plate cut;

    1.2  On the other hand, RH-series Strip Plate Edge Deburring and Rounding machine is an individual product 

        group. Which means, this Sheet Edge Rounding machine can not only be used as part of T Beam and or 

       H Beam production line, but also worked as a separate machine. For detail, please check the product family  

       of “Edge Rounding machine”, in which there are 16 standard products of such Edge Trimming machine to 

      be introduced.

 

    2. In this section we will give introduction on this RH1000 Strip Edge Rounding machine from the 

         viewpoint of  T Beam production and hence Shipbuilding:

    2.1  Usage:

    RH1000 Plate Edge Rounding machine is for deburring and rounding edge of plate or strip or sheet, trimming 

    its edge from sharp angle into round angle of R2.5mm, thus bringing along benefits of:

    1)  Improve painting adhesion, promising much better painting quality and protect it from corrosion from water

       or moisture;

    2) Eliminate risk of cut/ incise from sharp edge of workpiece;

    3) Remove stress concentration, giving better raw materials of plate for next step of assembly;

    4) Much better appearance of finished product;

    2.2  Structure:

    1) The RH1000 T Beam and H Beam Edge Rounding machine has the constructure of a machine body equipped

       with input and output conveyor, with control board and hydraulic pump station put alongside the machine 

       body;

    2) The machine body is horizontal top-open type. The workpiece passes thru it together with its edge rounded;

    2.3 Working Principle:

    1) There are 2 pairs of rounding rollers deployed at left and right side of machine body;

    2) Each pair consists of top and bottom one roller, engaged in couple;

    3) Which means, there are 4 rounding rollers in one set of RH1000 Edge Rounding machine for shipbuilding;

    4) Driven with hydraulic oil cylinders, the 2 pieces of top rounding rollers can be moved up and down, leftward

       and rightward, to be suitable for thickness and width of the workpiece to be rounded;

    5) These 4 pieces of rounding rollers form a cavity with its size perfect matched with overall dimension of 

       workpiece;

    6) Also driven with hydraulic oil cylinders, these 4 pieces of rounding rollers exhibit certain level of set pressure;

    7) During working, the workpiece travels thru this cavity, under effect of the set pressure from rounding rollers, 

      its edges are deburred and rounded at the same time;

   2.4  Main Components:

    - This RH1000 T Beam Edge Rounding machine is mainly composed of Machine bed/ Input and out conveyor/ 

     Rounding rollers/ Side fend rollers for positioning of workpiece/ Hydraulic system/Pneumatic scrap cleaning 

     unit/ Control system;

    2.5 Operation:

    1) Operation of this RH1000 Edge Deburring and Rounding machine is by means of operating panel on control 

      board, and a remote pendant for close observation during work;

    2) The prerequisite on satisfactory performance of this Strip Edge Rounding machine is proper adjustment of 

      coplanarity of rounding rollers with rollers of conveyor, and collinearity of rounding rollers with side fend 

     rollers before rounding.
