1. Main Function: This welding equipment fulfils welding on both annular seam and longitudinal seam on balloon workpieces, or cylindrical working parts;
2. Welding mode is by means of SAW welding (Submerged arc welding):

1) Adjustment according to Cylinder Length: The mechanical moving side can move forward and backward, catering on different lengths of balloon working parts;
2) Annular Welding: Revolve the secured pipes under required and adjustable welding linear speed, for welding the annular seam;
3) Longitudinal Welding: The welding torch moves in adjustable welding speed, along length direction of barrel body, for welding the longitude seam;
4) Secure Workpieces: The mechanical moving side can press end of the balloon by means of hand wheel, along axis direction of the balloon workpieces:

5) Workpiece Revolve: The fixed side can drive the balloon workpiece into speed adjustable rotation, by means of one piece of three jaw chuck to clamp the balloon, which is installed at operating side.

As shown in the above sketch, this machine has something in common with CNC Pipe Cutting Machine:
1) This unit is mechanical base bed, for fixing workpiece rotating and driving unit; Welding system;
2) The other side of mechanical frame is motor drive moving unit, for adjustment based on length of balloon;
3) Workpiece Laying: There are two sets of supporting rackets fixed with mechanical frame, for holding on and rotating workpiece during annular welding. It is similar to welding turning roll:

This mechanical frame is welding structure assembly, which is machined precisely after welding and annealing. It has high strength and anti-impact performance, guaranteeing on long term stable running of this welding fixture machinery;
1) Purpose: This unit is for driving welding torch movement, along longitudinal workpieces balloon body direction;
2) Horizontal Movement: Drive on longitudinal movement of this unit is adopted with gear reducer and motor. Moving speed is adjusted with A.C. inverter. In case of longitudinal welding, this speed is also longitudinal welding velocity;
3) Vertical Movement: Welding torch can be lifted up and descended down, driven under reducer and motor, depending on varied diameters of workpieces cylinder/ balloon;
4) Precise Position Control: This machine in installed with one set of 3 dimensional adjusting unit, for precisely managing on welding torch position, to make sure welding torch aiming on the welding seam all the while, guaranteeing proper and excellent welding quality;

3. Pipe Flange Revolve Mechanism:
1) Revolving linear velocity of workpiece is controlled with A.C. inverter, making sure annular speed controllable continuously and stepless;
2) Workpiece Revolve Transmission Chain Mechanism: Revolve driving motor → gear reducer → rotary support → three jaws chuck → Workpiece revolve;
1) Function: According to different length of workpieces balloon, this unit moves to suit on end position of workpiece, and firmly fix the workpieces with bolts;
2) Working Style: After the balloon is clamped, turn the hand wheel, to make the T type screw to clamp the balloon firmly into the machine;
3) There is one piece of disk, and fixed with jack catch, to clamp workpiece balloon.
1. Conductive Device:
1) There is conductive device installed on revolving worktable, thus forming the conductive circuit for carrying out welding operation;
2) The conductive current capacity of this device is 1000A;
1) This machine is equipped with Chinese HUAYUAN made ZD7-1000IGBT welding power source and control panel;
2) The SAW welding system is equipped with one set of SAW welding wire feeder;
3) Location: Because of compact structure and dimension of the LH50 machine, the SAW welding source is placed on the ground, instead of on mechanical main of the machine;
4) Control panel of SAW welding power supply is installed onto horizontal beam of the machine: (Fig.7)
5) Welding wire feeder unit is installed onto motor drive moving carriage, and moves along with SAW welding torch;

3. Welding Flux Recovery Unit:
1) SAW welding system of the machine is equipped with one set of welding flux recovery system;
2) The motor power of welding flux recovery machine is 3.0kW;
3) Welding flux loading capacity is 100kg.
