    2. 2) LHT and LHA models I H Beam Gantry Welding Machine are usually installed in semi-automatic working site, with more flexible layout;
    3. 3) Further Division: Further on, depending on the max. H Beam web height and number of operators available, there are 5 models of LHA models machines: LHA4Z/ LHA5Z/ LHA55Z/ LHA4C / LHA5C.

  • Q What are Advantages of SAW (Submerged Arc Welding) in I H Beam Welding Machine in terms of Welding Technology?

    1. 1) SAW welding is the No.1 choice in Steel Structure industry. This machine is especially suitable for producing heavy duty I H Beam: Welding toe above 12mm size, need more than one time welding pass, that welding torch can move along the entire length of H Beam back and forth several times, to form large and strong multi-pass welding seam;
    2. 2) Accordingly, welding seam formed has wider cover face, deeper penetration, and higher strength;

  • Q What is Capacity for Installing LHC/LHA/LHT I H Beam Gantry Welding Machine?

    A This machine requires on large electric capacity at workshop, because of its equipped large current SAW welding machines. The exact required capacity differs based on concrete condition,
    1. 1) From the minimum level of single arc SAW welding, one set of LHA or LHT,
    2. 2) To medium level of single arc SAW welding, four sets of LHC in automatic H Beam Production Line,

Customer asked Wuxi JACK on its purpose;
    2. 2) The reason is, after large current SAW welding, in 3 in 1 Vertical H Beam Welding Machine, longitudinal ways of H Beam will have temporary bending up, under effect of SAW welding heat input. To reliably holding up this bent H Beam, outfeed roller tables of machine should be able to raised up a little. After H Beam cooling down, its longitudinal body will restore to normal straight shape, the outfeed roller tables can drop down accordingly.

  • Q How to Quickly Set up H Beam Production Shop, with 3 in 1 Vertical H Beam Welding Machine?

    1. 1) In theory, yes. But in practical condition, very seldom customer do in this way, and we do not recommend such practice either. The reason is, compared with H Beam Gantry Welding Machine, which welds on H Beam with 45° welding, with to and from several times welding, and can produce welding toe size of over 12mm, in this 3 in 1 H Beam Welder Machine, welding is usually performed only one time on H Beam, confined from its structure and way of operation; Besides, H Beam is in position of vertical, so the max. welding toe size is up to 10mm;
    2. 2) The advantage of 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine lies in its integration, that it combines assembly and straightening function together with welding, so as to produce small and medium I H Beam with single machine, not welding capacity.

  • Q Please Give Adoption Condition of Welding Technique in 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine:

    A There are mainly 3 types of welding in 3 in 1 H Beam Welder Machine:
    1. 1) Single Arc SAW: This is absolutely the No.1 choice, applicable for over 90% of application cases, the default configuration in machine. This welding mode has good points of: Stable performance, lower running cost, high efficiency, easy operation;
    2. 2) Twin Arc SAW: This is attributed as personalized SAW welding mode. Utilizing double wires of Φ1.2-1.6mm, this welding mode can raise welding speed of around 20%, and get longer welding seam. However, it has serious negative point: That twin arc is easy to have its welding wire entanglement during feeding in, because of small diameter and hence insufficient strength of welding wire, which lead to machine shut down;
    3. 3) CO2 Gas Shielded Welding: In 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine, this welding mode is used for producing small thickness H Beam, with flange and web of 4-8mm thick, the height and width of H Beam is also correspondingly smaller. The welding torches need to have water cooling unit during operation;
    Sometimes, although not often seen, some customers select to have their 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine being equipped with more than one type of welding: Single arc and twin arc together for SAW; Or, single arc SAW together with CO2 GMAW. Of course, this will add on total price of machine.
