    3. 3) To the highest level of tandem arc SAW welding, four sets of LHC in automatic H Beam Production Line;

    1. 1) 2 sets of ZD7-1600 D.C. SAW Welding Machines, 84kW x 2= 168kW;

Customer asked Wuxi JACK on its purpose;
    2. 2) The reason is, after large current SAW welding, in 3 in 1 Vertical H Beam Welding Machine, longitudinal ways of H Beam will have temporary bending up, under effect of SAW welding heat input. To reliably holding up this bent H Beam, outfeed roller tables of machine should be able to raised up a little. After H Beam cooling down, its longitudinal body will restore to normal straight shape, the outfeed roller tables can drop down accordingly.

The reason is, compared with H Beam Gantry Welding Machine, which welds on H Beam with 45° welding, with to and from several times welding, and can produce welding toe size of over 12mm, in this 3 in 1 H Beam Welder Machine, welding is usually performed only one time on H Beam, confined from its structure and way of operation; Besides, H Beam is in position of vertical, so the max. welding toe size is up to 10mm;
    2. 2) The advantage of 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine lies in its integration, that it combines assembly and straightening function together with welding, so as to produce small and medium I H Beam with single machine, not welding capacity.

  • Q Please Give Adoption Condition of Welding Technique in 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine:

    A There are mainly 3 types of welding in 3 in 1 H Beam Welder Machine:
    1. 1) Single Arc SAW: This is absolutely the No.1 choice, applicable for over 90% of application cases, the default configuration in machine. This welding mode has good points of: Stable performance, lower running cost, high efficiency, easy operation;
    2. 2) Twin Arc SAW: This is attributed as personalized SAW welding mode. Utilizing double wires of Φ1.2-1.6mm, this welding mode can raise welding speed of around 20%, and get longer welding seam. However, it has serious negative point: That twin arc is easy to have its welding wire entanglement during feeding in, because of small diameter and hence insufficient strength of welding wire, which lead to machine shut down;
    3. 3) CO2 Gas Shielded Welding: In 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine, this welding mode is used for producing small thickness H Beam, with flange and web of 4-8mm thick, the height and width of H Beam is also correspondingly smaller. The welding torches need to have water cooling unit during operation;

    1, How much percentage of their H Beam are non-symmetric? If there are many, should select PHJ; If no or very small, then choose ZHJ;
    2, The max. size H Beam. Generally speak, PHJ produces a bit larger H Beam than ZHJ;
    3, Price of PHJ is 5% higher than ZHJ counterpart.


  • Q What is Workshop Requirement on Installing 3 in 1 Vertical H Beam Welder Machine?

    1. 1) Workshop Land Space: H Beam Welding 3 in 1 Machine has compact dimension. For example, the No.1 selling volume model ZHJ15, one set of the machine occupies land area of: 41m length x 9m width = 360 m2;
    2. 2) Workshop Height: One set of Wuxi JACK ZHJ15 has height of 4.9m. There should be traveling crane overhead, for hoisting flange/ web/ T Beam onto and off conveyors. Caution on height of machine, we had encountered such case at May 2025: One set of PHJ20 was delivered to Russian customer workshop, which has total height of 5.3m, this conflicts with travel crane. They worked together us to solve the problem;
    3. 3) Installation of 3 in 1 H Beam Fabrication Welding Machine involves foundation prepare. For which we will provide foundation drawing to customer during machine production;
    4. 4) Sufficient Electric Capacity: Power of one set of ZHJ15 is around 20KW, together with 140KVA 2 sets of welding power supply. Be sure to maintain sufficient capacity of electricity. In Sep. 2025 we have an Argentina customer, who expanded their workshop capacity, to accommodate on our ZHJ15 model 3 in 1 Vertical H Beam Welder Machine.

  • Q Could you Give General Level of Variable Cost for Running on H Beam Welding 3 in 1 Machine?

    A Compared with H Beam Production Line, the advantages of 3 in 1 H Beam Fabrication Welding Machine not only reflected in period cost of investment budget and workshop floor, but also subsequent everyday operation:
    1. 1) Number of Operator: From 4 people (Work on assembly, welding, straightening 3 machines respectively, and 1 as logistic and backup) to 1 people working on 3 in 1 machine;
