    1. 1) In April 2023, a Singapore customer communicated with Wuxi JACK on HR800 model I H Beam Flange Edge Rounding Machine. The focus between both sides is the minimum size of H Beam that can be edge rounded: The conventional specification on minimum of flange thickness is 10mm, and 8mm under special design. Which means, the 8mm thickness/ 100mm flange width is the lower limit of workpiece size; Customer wanted to have the machine capable of edge rounding on H Beam with flange the minimum thickness of 6mm. Accordingly, according to Wuxi JACK engineer, slant angle of edge roller is around 10°, it should be 15° to available on edge rounding smaller H Beam. Correspondingly, edge rounding roller should be larger;
    2. 2) In beginning of February 2026, a west European customer contacted with Wuxi JACK, on I Beam H Beam Flange Edge Rounding Machine, for series of large projects which will kicked off in year 2027. Customer gave us list of all European standard I Beams and H Beams, which is planned to be processed.     To align assembly speed with SAW welding speed into same level, so as to acquire ideal line balance rate (85% plus) and smooth material flow, there are 4 sets of H Beam Welding Machine in H Beam Production Line, and only one set of T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine to work with.

    A Yes. This is the request often raised by customers, so as to not only get the best utilization of machine, but also optimal financial return on investment. For example:
    1. 1) In August 2025 year, when a Cambodian customer planned to purchase 2 sets of Z15 H Beam Assembly and CO2 Tack Welding Machine from Wuxi JACK, they requested the machines not only to be equipped with conventional CO2 tack welding function, but also with SAW continuous welding ability. For this reason, each one set of the machine is equipped with 4 sets of welding power supplies: 2 sets of 500A GMAW welding machine, and 2 sets of 1000A single arc SAW welding machine. This helps the machine with multiple choice on welding mode and applicable H Beams for production. These 2 sets of Z15 model T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine are scheduled to be shipped to Sihanouk at end of January, 2026 by sea transportation;
    2. 2) Also in early January 2026 year, when an Indian customer had technical communication with Wuxi JACK engineer on the machine, he raised the same request. The customer expectation is to have the machine not only capable of producing semi-finished welding H Beam of large size, but also be able to produce finished welding H Beam directly with 500A GMAW welding machine, in the form of continuous CO2 gas shielded welding;
    3. 3) Besides, Wuxi JACK engineers can also propose the T Beam H Beam Assembly Machine to be equipped with Twin arc/ Tandem arc SAW welding machines. In this way, in the case of continuous SAW or GMAW welding, the welding speed can be doubled compared with conventional single arc welding mode, so as to acquire on double productivity on H Beam Production Line.

  • Q How to Select Proper Model and Specification of I H Beam Assembly Machine?

    1. 1) One Size fits for All: Because there is no confinement on placement of workpiece (BOX I H Beams) in open structure, so, size range of applicable workpieces has great extensive range than enclosed gantry frame types machines. In other words, when customer plan to produce new batch of H Beam, they do not need to fret over whether the current open structure I H-beam Welding Machine is applicable or not;

And, among this, majority is with single arc SAW welding; When customer need higher welding velocity, or thickness of H Beam flange and web are larger than 60mm, tandem arc SAW should be used;
    2. 2) Promise Heavy Welding: The strongest point of sole purpose I H-beam Welding Machine is to get solid welding seam formation in fabricated BOX T I H Beams, which guarantees sufficient penetration depth/ broad cover face of formed welding seam on finished workpieces;

For example, in end of December 2025, when a Vietnam customer communicated with Wuxi JACK on LHA model H-beam Gantry SAW Welding Machine, we forgot to remind customer that, the 18m long parallel rails for gantry movement is not included supply range, because unlike rails of CNC Flame Plasma Cutting Machine, which need to be machined, for rails of I H-beam Welding Machine, the parallel rails do not need to be machined, do, it is not in scope of supply. This is common practice, but need to confirm with customer when making quotation;
    2. 2. Basically, supply scope of all types of I H-beam Welding Machine:
    1. 1) Mechanical main frame, including motor drive moving trolley for LHC, gantry frame for LHA, and T frame open structure for LHT;
    2. 2) SAW welding system, including different types of welding machines, welding torch mechanism, supplementary welding units, flux conveying and reuse machines;
    3. 3) Drive and transmission system on mechanical main frame;
    4. 4) Electric control system of machine;
    1. 3. Unless specifically designated by customer and negotiated accordingly, supply range of I H-beam Welding Machine do not include:
    1. 1) 2 arrays of triangular H Beam support rack;

    1. 1) Model and design of machine. For example, for LHA series H-beam Gantry SAW Welding Machine, there are 2 branches of: LHAC lateral operating type, which usually need 2 operators work on one machine; While one operator is sufficient for working on LHAZ middle operating type;
