1) Necessity: To make sure eligible end face milling outcome, workpieces processed in DX1520 and other small medium sized models, need to be fixed because of its relative light weight, compared with workpieces for heavy duty machines, during end facing operation;
2) Function: Hydraulic drive clamping rack and table is for clamping workpiece tightly and reliably, dampening milling vibration and lessening noise greatly, in the process of end face milling operation;
3) Especially for pipe steel structure workpieces with long length, which have irregular cross section shape, and not easy to be leaned closely and reliably. The role of its clamp table really matters, for getting steady and high standard end face milling performance:

1) Split Type: The clamping table is a separate structure from main frame of machine. Which means, its installation position can be adjusted, based on practical condition;
2) Composition: For default configuration, one set of DX1520 model machine has 2 sets of clamp table:
a) 1 set of downward acting and sideward clamping table, with closer distance to machine main frame. The downward clamp is by means of an overhead rod, driven with hydraulic oil cylinder;
b) 1 set of sideward acting clamping table, with further distance to machine main frame, also driven with oil cylinders:

Mechanical main body of a typical set of DX series machine includes three main components of:
1) This is foundation of the entire set of machine. The two critical indexes for its performance are enough strength and strict levelness;

1) Work Motion: During work, upright column moves along horizontal precise linear guiderail of the base bed, in the speed of either end face milling operation (150~ 800 mm/min.), or idle (1200 mm/min.) when not in work;
2) Installation: This upright column is installed onto horizontal base bed, by means of machined installing plate;
3) The critical control point for this upright column, is its verticality with respect to base bed, which should be checked rigorously during installation and commissioning of the machine:

2) Double Types of Speed: Same as the upright column, during work, the milling carriage moves up and down in either working speed (150~ 800 mm/min.) when carrying out end face milling job, or in idle speed (1200 mm/min.) when not in work.
