1. Sheet Metal Width: This series of Large Plate Edge Rounding and Deburring Machine focuses on edge rounding and trimming on plate with large width, from 1,500mm to 3,000mm;
1) Overall Structure: Correspondingly, constructure of machine completely differs from RH800~ RH1000 models on narrow strip, in the form of solid BOX frame mechanical body:

2) This is because, with plate grows wider, and beyond the threshold of 1,500mm width, when its both sides are edge rounded by means of 2 pairs of rollers, the entire plate will have middle protrusion problem, which should be flattened, with overhead pressing rollers:
a) A piece of 3,000mm width plate, being pressed into working unit of Wuxi JACK RH3000 model Large Plate Edge Rounding and Deburring Machine, and 2 pieces of pressing rollers pressing the plate: (Fig.3)
3. The difference among models of RH1500 to RH3000 mainly lies in the max. width plate for edge rounding, and hence width of mechanical frame. For example, RH2000 refers to the max. width of plate for being edge rounded is 2,000mm. So, it can be viewed as a same type of product machine.
1. Business: The RH3000 model machine shown in the attached photos, is Wuxi JACK produced for a famous Chinese Port Machinery producer group client ZPMC in Shanghai, in the year 2021; This is the largest standard model of machine on plate edge rounding, in the field of Port Machinery/ Shipbuilding/ Bridge industry;
1) Painting Adhesion Capability Raised:
a) With the R2.5mm external round deburred and trimmed going thru the machine, the steel plates to be used as raw materials for port machinery production have much better painting adhesion;
b) This is critical process control in the building up Port Machineries, which work in the surroundings with inevitable access on huge amount of water and moisture: The corruption or spoilage of painting usually originates from sharp angles of steel plate;
c) Besides, machine/ equipment/ utility working in such humid environment call for high standard of painting quality;
2) Stress is relieved around edge of these plates/ sheet metal/ T Beam or H Beam webs, with its going thru the Plate Edge Rounding Machine;
3) Operation Safety: Round angle of steel plate is much more safer to operators working around it, compared with sharp angles;

3. Besides Port Machinery, another major application of these large size machine on sheet metal edge rounding is for Shipbuilding;
1) The related equipment is Stiffener Plate Element Straightening Machine, which is for straightening the ribbed plate assembly after its Angle Steels fabrication onto the plate. It situates at work stations post edge rounding:

At customer Chinese ZPMC facility on Port Machinery production, Wuxi JACK RH3000 model machine: (Fig.6)
1) For workpieces of the max. 3,000 mm width, the target rounding angle of R2.5mm poses higher and stricter demand on high precision of edge rounding operation. This is guaranteed with design and process technology of machine, especially its edge rounding operation mechanism:

2) In central working area of machine, two pairs of finely machined edge rounding rollers, (Left and right, up and down, totally four pieces) are manipulated with both the 4 sets of vertical acting oil cylinders for major movement, and 2 sets of horizontal oil cylinder for inching management, thus in turn making sure precise positioning and operation of these edge rounding rollers:

1) Working Velocity: During work, edge rounding and deburring operation usually is performed in constant speed of 7200mm/min., which is truly highly efficient; Besides, this working speed can be made into frequency variable style also. For example, the adjustable edge rounding velocity scope of 3,000 ~ 12,000 mm/min., depending on required TAKT time of its production line;
2) Operating Pendant: Considering large side of plate and the entire machine dimension, majority of time, operator stands at certain distance away from machine main frame and conveyors. This is for purpose of safe and efficient operation. Under such conditions, operation is implemented with hand help remote pendant:

3) Language: Shown in the above sketch, it is in Chinese language. Of course, any major language is available for customer convenience in this machine. The parameter here denotes on the total edge rounding length of current rounding rollers (“Accumulated Rounding Length”);
4) This is because that, in daily operation, the edge rounding rollers is consumable. We give its suggested service life in the form of “Total Edge Rounding Length”, in parameters list of Plate Edge Rounding Machine, please check it at the end of this product section;
5) Another parameter shown in this interface is diameter of rounding roller: “Edge Rounding Roller Diameter”: For RH2000 model machine, Wuxi JACK prepares 2 types of edge rounding rollers, catering for the 2 grades of steel plate thickness: (10 ~14mm), and (14~ 40mm);
1) Loading and unloading of workpiece (Sheet metal) before and after edge rounding operation, into and out of the machine;
2) Adjust on position of workpiece and edge rounding rollers, based on plate width and thickness. This is acquired by means of controlling pushbuttons and switches on machine operating panel;
3) Observe and monitor on edge rounding operation in the machine, making sure its normal/ controllable/ high standard performance as expected.
