1) In the field of Shipbuilding, larger sizes of steel plate need to be acquired, in the way of fabrication from joining 2 pieces of steel plates, in the Plate Butt Joint Welding Machine;
2) For this purpose, edges of steel plates with thickness above 15mm need to have slant edges, in order to get a fully penetration during butt joining process. This is when should the Edge Milling Machine used;
