3. The material of Metal Steel Plate for butt welding can be any common seen type: Carbon steels of different grades, including Chinese grade Q235/ Q345, Stainless Steel, Al;

a) 2 times of welding on both sides of Metal Steel Plates;
b) One time of half finished joint plate overturning, with the help of overhead traveling crane;
c) Carbon arc gouging on the 2nd side of plate;

1) Plates Flow: Checking on the above photo and drawing, you can find in the sequence of material flow from input conveyor to output conveyor:
2) At incoming side of machine gantry, there is flame triple cutting torch, and at the outlet side of the gantry, there is melt-thru butt welding torch system;
1) Task: This unit can be viewed as a set of Plate Triple Flame Cutting Machine. It is for cutting out welding groove on the edges of Metal Steel Plates, when plates thickness for joining is above 15mm, so as to guarantee fully penetration on joint seams, in subsequent butt welding:
a) Oxygen fuel triple cutting, before butt welding: (Fig.4)

c) Finished flame triple cutting plate, for butt welding: (Fig.6)
2) This flame triple cutting unit is optional configuration for MP models machines. Without it, customer need to prepare specific equipment for cutting welding groove on edges of Metal Steel Plates, such as XBJ series Edge Milling Machine;

2) Welding Torch Installation in Wuxi JACK Metal Steel Plate Flat Joint Butt Welding Machine: (Fig.8)
Shown in the above photo, this includes:
a) Welding torch and its high precision positioning mechanism;
b) Motor drive welding torch lifting mechanism;
c) Welding wire feeding unit and tube;
d) Welding wire straightening unit;
e) SAW welding flux conveying and recycling unit: Sending and recovering tubes; Yellow color flux hopper; Grey color Welding flux recycling machine;
1) The butt welding bed which is assembled with an array of copper pads: (Fig.9)
a) Arrangement: You can see there are numerous pairs of black color holding blocks just above the copper pads, which have interval space of 300~ 350mm;
b) The quantity of black color holding blocks depends on length of welding table, equals to length of butt welding seam: In the total welding seam width of 2000mm of MP20 model, it needs 6 pairs of such holding blocks;
c) Function: These holding blocks are for the purpose of pressing the two pieces of Metal Steel Plates firmly during melt through butting welding operation, which are driven with oil cylinders to deliver heavy force. The oil cylinders are installed inside the trapezoidal cover, at both sides of the copper pads and welding base:
d) The oil cylinders being installed, inside the trapezoidal cover of Wuxi JACK MP30 model metal Steel Plate Butt Welding Machine worktable: (Fig.10)
2) Reliable Earthing: There are black color earthing cables, connected with each of the holding block, guaranteeing safe operation of Metal Steel Plate butt joint welding operation:

1) Location: This unit is installed at outlet butt welding side of machine gantry, on its horizontal beam;
2) Movement of welding torch during work is guided with high precision heavy duty ball bearing linear guiderail;
3) Butt welding work table is detached from mechanical gantry;
4) Butt welding power supply and its control console are installed on gantry: Welding machine on platform of gantry, and control console at horizontal beam of outlet side of gantry;
5) SAW welding flux sending and recycling unit is deployed on the welding seam between the 2 pieces of steel plates;
