Product name of this section gives power source of PHJ series (Including PHJ18 model) 3 in 1 H Beam Fabrication Machine: Hybrid drive of both hydraulic and electric.
There are three major functions (Corresponds with three main steps in making welding H Beam) in this Automatic H Beam Welding Machine. The driving mode for each of them is:
1) Assembling: The alignment of assembly rollers are driven with hydraulic cylinders, including preliminary and final assembling stages;
2) SAW/ CO2 Welding: Welding torch position is manipulated with D.C. motor, and welding process is controlled with related SAW/ CO2 power supply;
3) H Beam flange Straightening: The 3 pieces of solid straightening rollers are driven with hydraulic cylinder.
From above we can see that, hydraulic system (Oil pump station and cylinders/ electromagnetic valves) play key role in guaranteeing high standard working of PHJ series SAW H Beam Welding Machine (Also can be used as T Beam Welding Machine, as we know from the previous product section “PHJ15 H Beam Fabrication Machine”).
1) Why Adopt Hydraulic Drive? The most conspicuous trait of hydraulic system is heavy force, compared with motor drive. This is the main reason that, hydraulic system is adopted in assembling and straightening operations of PHJ and ZHJ series Fit Up Full H Beam Welding Machine, that positioning/ clamping/ straightening (Or pressing) of flange and web involve powerful kinetic energy;
2) Matters for attention with Hydraulic: On the other hand, the downside of hydraulic system is its apt to be contaminated/ spilled/ leaked/ worn in the day after day running of the H Beam Fabrication Machine. For this reason, proper operation and maintenance on hydraulic system is of vital importance to the long and satisfactory performance of the H Beam Fabrication Machine. The attached 2nd picture shows a set of PHJ18 H Beam Assembly Welding Straightening Machine exported to Bangladesh: Local operators and service team were studying hydraulic system of the 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine;
3) The 3rd picture was taken on several oil cylinders (Red color and yellow color) used in PHJ series 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine: For driving flange alignment/ straightening deformed welded flange, etc.;
a) Hydraulic pump station and its electromagnetic valves/ Oil circuits;
b) Oil cylinder for driving main pressing roller;
c) Oil cylinders for driving alignment of flanges with web;
d) Oil cylinders for driving clamping of flanges;
e) Oil cylinders for driving clamping of web;
f) Oil cylinders for driving straightening rollers;
g) Oil cylinders for driving elevating output conveyor;
h) Oil cylinders for driving manipulators (Pulling rod box) of input conveyor;
From this we can see that except conveyor driving and welding torch, hydraulic system manages nearly all actions of the 3 in 1 H Beam Fabrication machine;
a) As can be seen from the attached master picture, oil pump station is put alongside with control board of the H Beam Assembly Welding Straightening Machine, which is close to mechanical main body of the H Beam Fabrication Machine;
b) Operating buttons of the hydraulic system is integrated into general control operating panel of the entire set of the 3 in 1 H Beam Welding Machine.
