LHT T Type Automatic H Beam Submerged Arc Welding Machine

The LHT is a kind of classical automatic I Beam welding machine. It is used for submerged arc welding on H Beam in the form of Single Arc or Tandem Arc, following the step of assembling and tack welding. Same as gantry type I Beam welding machine, it is used in semi-automatic line, or worked as individual welding equipment. One operator can manage its working process.

 

Some Notes on this T type I Beam welding machine:

  1) Flux Recovery unit:

      The machine is equipped with automatic flux recovery and recycling unit. It is requisite unit for SAW process.

      So, LHA gantry and LHC column I Beam welding machine are equipped with unit also.

     -  During welding, flux flows onto welding seam by way of flux hopper (the yellow one fit at front side of gantry 

        beam, see below picture marked with red color square frame) and manual valve, guaranteeing normal welding;


Flux hopper

     -  Recovery tube recycles redundant flux following welding tip;

     - By screening of sieve, those fluxes that can be recycled will flow into flux hopper again by way of manual 

        valve;

     - Dust is collected into flux recovery unit, and those flux in block remains inside flux hopper;

  2) Pneumatic System

     As explained in previous products of gantry I Beam welding machine, all the H Beam SAW machines do not

     have hydraulic system. Power momentum is supplied with motor reducer and air cylinder.

    - The arc tracker system of these I Beam welding machine utilizes both mechanical style and pneumatic style, 

       eliminating common problems with solitary mechanical unit, including huge impact, high failure rate, 

       unreliable tracking, etc.;

     - By pre-setting on the air cylinder, welding torch is guided along the seam all the while during welding, with 

       stable running and good welding quality;

  3) T Frame travel on the rail

    - Same as column style LHC and LHA gantry style I Beam welding machine, T frame travel can be shifted 

      between high speed (Idle, 3.2m/min.) and low speed (welding, 0.24~24m/min.);

    - The welding speed is controlled with A.C. inverter. Its working principle:

  • The inverter rectifies A.C. electricity into D.C. electricity;

  • Then inverts the D.C. electricity back into A.C. electricity of adjustable voltage and frequency;

  • The inverted A.C. electricity then powers A.C. motor, attaining purpose of speed control.

    - During working, the inverter gives protection on motors against overload, over voltage, over current, and

      phase failure, etc.

    - Also, it can execute automatic compensation against voltage fluctuation, ensuring stable running of motor.
